This would be grounds for terminating the dealership if discovered.
Your BEST bet would be to talk to your current employer. Assuming you're not leaving in bad blood that is.
Well no, because the two are tied together and not separately licensed.

Can you post on here when it’s available please so I can then add the IP address. Thanks.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Neil who helped me put a great starter system together based around an EA-3, EA-1, SR-260 and wall mounted iPad Mini. We worked in real-time over the phone today and knocked everything out in 2-3 hours. This included integrating my Sony XBR TV, Sony sound bar, TiVo, Sonos, Lutron Radio RA2 lights and shades, and more. Even my gas fireplace and pool are controlled perfectly. Everything is controlled by either IP or serial, so no ugly emitters or unreliable control.
Still have some tweaking I might want to do, but my copy of Composer HE takes a day to get fully licensed, so hopefully in a day or so I can download and make some programming changes to better suite my daily usage.
Thanks again Neil for the great experience and very fair pricing! I'll be adding Control4 integration to my basement theater in the near futrure, and will be sure to call upon Neil again when the time comes.

Thanks guys. Sky changed the tv.sky.com endpoint to point to something else entirely.
As such we have worked hard and figured out a new method of obtaining this data.
tbe driver has been updated and pushed out to all sites.
it should be working now.
also all dealers should download the latest copy so that they don’t install an older copy of the driver.

A system with 4 devices (some on wall) sounds like a multi-Room system which ideally should have a stronger controller - EA3 or EA5

What about the vacuum cleaner? Was that left behind by the wifey as a reminder or will that be hidden too?

Look, you're using this forum all wrong... Let me help.
The OP here had some zwave questions. He got some very helpful answers from some knowledgeable folks. You too can get all the info you can handle on any control4 product and just about any 3rd party product that integrates with control4, right here on this forum.
However, people here don't work for control4. It's dealers, end users... and yes some control4 employees, but they're here on their own time and I'm sure cant speak officially for control4.
So when you come here and say "Control4 should do this.." or "Why doesnt control4 do that...?" Honestly, most of us don't know... but if you ask a specific question, chances are you'll get a few pretty informed answers and opinions.

You can learn about zwave. No one is preventing you. Go study the protocol and all that.
There is really nothing to know about the control4 side they integrate more or less like any other control4 device if you have the zwave module and it's one of the few supported devices

I don't see how zwave not being proprietary is relevant

Use a remote guy. there are a handful on this site. My experience is that they make the local guys look like amateurs because they have a much wider band of experience. They do it at about anywhere from 1/2 to 1/10th the cost. I had "programming" estimated at $8,000 for initial project build and no custom programming. Just basically installing drivers for equipment I had etc. Remote guy did it for $450, it took us a grand total of like 8 hours. 3 years later everything still working perfectly

I know that I'm in the right hands when you respond to one of my posts. As always, thank you for your help.
I'll try to change the toggle setting on the "off" scene again tonight. I tried it last night and it didn't make a difference. I also have a separate button associated with a difference scene, and even though the "off" scene doesn't have a toggle setting either, it works like it should. If adding a scene to the Toggle Scene field doesn't change anything, do you have any other recommendations?
Any thoughts on the button color change? I'm not sure if I'm on the right track on that one.
Thanks again!

msgreenf got a reaction from Time2Jet in Greenfield Solutions Remote Programming
Greenfield Solutions has started to take on select projects, where we feel we can add value for remote work. I am not looking to take on a ton of projects, but only ones that well align to my experience and where I believe I can offer both competitive knowledge and pricing on the work.
No Control4 hardware will be sold - programming only. But Hardware and drivers from BlackWire Designs as well as drivers from DriverCentral.io are available.
Please don't hesitate to post or message me!
If you are any of the people I have remoted in and helped, don't hesitate to post

That's currently how awful my Internet is too and have been able to have some of the programmers on here remote in without issue. Now, if you have to download an update or something, it'll obviously take longer, but I wouldn't let that scare you away from trying someone on here first.
