Oh yes, the goal would be to try and get Snap (or to be exact the company owning Snap) to pay more - not to stop it.

Alan is correct. Most all of our systems are set and forget. If you are having to reboot more than once or twice a year there is likely something wrong with your project. Even then that could be an issues at hand. I have some systems out there that other than possible a power outage has not been rebooted in 5 plus years.

I would look into why you need to restart.  Get your dealer to contact Control4 technical support who will log into your system to check for memory leaks and cpu related problems.  Could be anything from bad programming, poorly written drivers and more.

Yeah... I gave up on making this a real "product" when Amazon announced several months back that they were putting the buttons on end-of-life.  I have it all working in my system and I bought about 10 buttons to play with when Amazon was giving them away, but this will end up in the "interesting experiment" history books.

I have used one in my house - works!  a bit loud and slow but...cheaper than replacing the non-motorized shades.  Haven't tried doing groups of shades yet since I only have one.

I have a blackberry. Is that wild too?

I just added an echo Dot to my rack and it's awesome. I just tell  Alexa to turn on my speakers in room X and then I ask Alexa to play any music I want on my rack dot.  It’s amazing and simple without having to create different scenes for different playlists or artists. 

We don't have it here in Australia.  I am utilising a HS-300 purchased from the US.  It is 110v only.  The US is a big market for us so we have to support US only products 😉

Most of the time I have used native c4 encoding when using the audio input of a controller there is a delay so the videos audio will be out if sync. Not sure if the WMB will do the same since I havent tried using one for something like this.
 
If you can miracast to a TV and have a spare cat5 or 6 cable going back you can get a audio balun to home run it back to the head end from the TV

Just a quick update on the new C4 IOS App that kills the ColorWheel view, we have it fixed but had to build separated ColorChanger driver just for the IOS app. It is attached to this post and is a complement of the Advanced DMX Driver Suite v2.2.1 available at Blackwire (will NOT work with the Houselogix version). The IOS ColorChanger driver is also included in the download package from BW. That's complicated stuff a bit for customer with both Android and IOS devices, but you will be glad to see the huge speed improvement and enhanced look of the color wheel on IOS.

Nice. Thanks for that tip. I’ll try it. Would be nice if there was a 2-way driver though. 

I just purchased a QRS PNO 3 and was able to figure out a way to browse the music selection from my T3s. When you connect to the QRS from your phone/tablet, it basically re-directs you to a webpage. Jot down that IP address/URL and input it into the generic URL driver. This will allow you to open the QRS interface on your T3. Only problem is that the connection is SUPER slow. Takes forever for the music playlists to load.  

updating from 2.10.2 to 2.10.6 really is no major update...

Hmm. In conjunction with the new ATV 4/4K driver, there is also an update to the 'old' driver. So it's easy enough to see how one might think THAT would be the 'updated' driver.
 
Unfortunately not everyone lists themselves for dealer info emails (especially not in companies with multiple programmers installed) - and even then it's always possible to 'miss' one.
 
On top of all that there has been a recently created 'new' IR driver that has been touted on the dealer forums as well for the past month or two.
 
Don't get all aggro on a single dealer/employee over what COULD be a simple mistake/misunderstanding
