No. You need a t3 driver but not actual hardware. This is a composer defect

That was always a risk though. C4 noted the old driver could break at any point if Sonos chose to close off the control. The fact it went slowly instead of immediate was good for allowing time to make the switch, but it should have been done earlier anyways. Slowly losing features rather than being honest about the situation doesn't serve the customer well.

 I have 4 T3's, but I've already used this functionality on my mobile twice.  It's just more convenient to use what's in my pocket vs going to a spot on the wall and standing there. 🙂

I have verified with the composer team that a T3 driver is required to be in the project.  This will be fixed in the next release.

I agree.  It makes it more foolproof. I use an Amazonf Fire TV with a VideoStorm IRUSB to control it with no lag. I wrote additional mini drivers for it so anyone can bring up the OSD, select watch and click the Netflix button to go right to it. Visually it is very cool.  My Watxh menu has 30 icons which include 25 channels then the rest of the viewing equipment

Not sure if everyone noticed but Wakeup/Sleep functionality has now been added to all of the mobile apps for OS3.  

I'm not a dealer but I can comment on this.  The connection times are slower than they were in OS2 due to an underlying change in the networking technology used to talk to the controller.  The team is hard at work on reducing connection times and we've already made great strides and we're continuing to reduce them further.  We'll be dropping a public beta of the app in the next month or so with these connection improvements and I'll post the link in this thread so if you're interested you can give it a try.  In the meantime, thanks for your patience

I have yeelight led strip and smart bulb at home and use Alan’s driver and it works amazing. No drop offs in the last year so for some fairly cheap kit it works very well

Have you looked at the August locks? Would preserve the outdoor appearance of your current lock with no need to change the handle (assuming your handle and deadbolt are separate) and there's a C4 driver for them.

Yeah - run cable. I’ve put THOUSANDS of feet of CAT6 in my house. It’s cheap and easy now. Also, I don’t know what style your house is, but have conduits up to the attics if possible. That way things you missed can be taken care of.

What is involved?

And support was just added to mobile today!  @ILoveControl sounds like the agent isn't properly configured in Composer for it show in navigator

and maybe do a push notification too?  I do push notifications so I get it even when I am out of the house...

Pretty sure C4 requires an established business with a showroom to even entertain the idea of opening up a new dealer. 
So after 2-3 years of getting that setup, then you need to goto the training and place an opening order which is gonna cost like $15k
Then, you need to keep your numbers up so they don’t pull the dealership from you. 
Maybe you should’ve figured this stuff out before quitting your job. 
 
 

I also have an old iPad 2 using the Control4 app in Kiosk mode AND an SR-250 which most people use in that room.
I also have an Alexa in the room and I've programmed things like "Alexa, turn on Theater Netflix".  

Yeah, I don’t tend to use the OSD but I do have a watch button on a light switch at the entrance to my theatre which pulls up the OSD and guests tend to use this rather than the remote (cold).

The OSD comes up in the main theater... and I really like it!
