I've got a client with his own Orbi system install, one hard-wired and the rest wireless satellites and he has constant issues with Control4 app not connecting to the system. Also the various Sonos devices he has which are also connected via the Orbing WiFi drop off the network all the time.
Needless to say, we will be upgrading him to a full UniFi setup with hard-wired only APs.

If your c4 app is working after changing routers. Unplug the amps and plug them back in. Hopefully they set everything up dhcp and identified sddp so it will all sync up because the amps may be holding onto the old IP addresses

No idea. On OS2 here. That said as a partner with c4 I’d be shocked if it wasn’t compatible with OS3

The show dock is just to provide a dock and charging station for the Fire HD. I wouldn’t necessarily be putting it into show mode but thanks.  I’ll admit though, I have no experience with Fire HD tablets.

Yes you can do that by putting each echo on its own Amazon account (takes 5 minutes to set up an account for free). It is explained in the driver documentation.

The Control4 skill doesn't allow this type of functionality...

Cat6E is not a real cable.  Cat6A is.  But to your question, seeing as most devices can o ly handle gigabit currently, Cat6/6A is fine for futureproofing.  The benefits of 7plus might take your lifetime to come to fruition, outside of very high end stuff.

Just had Ari upgrade my system to 3. I have to say he was fantastic and exceeded my expectations.

Somewhat off-topic, I'm about to install an HPC10A heavy duty power controller to replace the timer on the front landscape lights.  We lose power occasionally and I hate them not syncing up.  At least with Control4 I can sink the porch and garage lights now with the ladscape lights so it's looks better.
 

There is basic stuff for steam showers.  If interested try mr steam.  I went with steamist and the driver was having issues and the driver developer just ignored me and my dealer.  After a few attempts I was done chasing them and now I have a “dumb” steam shower.  Life goes on

Just drag the rooms in the design tree window. Definitely works in 3.0

Please don’t take this the wrong way but if your not sure on what this means please don’t try to do this on your own(even with remote programmers). It will be so easy to screw it up and lose faith in C4 for no fault of its own.
 Start with your main priority and then slowly grow the system. But and most importantly get the infrastructure in now!!!
ie run all cables( cat6 / speakers etc) before you finish building. 
 
 

No. You need a t3 driver but not actual hardware. This is a composer defect
