@videostorm was spot on with support after I contacted them! This was their response - I actually kept it at Dolby Digital - lowering from DD+. Didn’t go as far as PCM but it is now working From VS support:
Roku has a known issue where it sends Dolby Digital Plus to devices which only support Dolby Digital (as indicated in the EDID). VTX100 is one such device that only supports Dolby Digital. When it receives DD+ instead, it causes the symptoms you reported. To resolve, change the audio settings on your source to not allow DD+. For some devices, this means setting to PCM only. -

Thanks very much Neil for your help.
For everyone on this thread - my dealer went out of business and my kids broke 2 remotes. Neil was able to log in and integrate 2 new remotes for me. Great service!! Really appreciate your help.

Version 6 (uploaded now) has 4 new variables:
Weather Now, Weather in 1 Hour, Weather in 2 Hours, Weather in 3 Hours
The possible values for these variables are clear-day, clear-night, rain, snow, sleet, wind, fog, cloudy, partly-cloudy-day, or partly-cloudy-night.

I could probably put in a weather next hour icon as well or something. I'll have a look tonight and get back to you.

msgreenf reacted to OceanDad in An automation question, but not necessarily Control4 automation.
Why not replace the XF/Comcast cable modem with one of your own (there's an approved list online). Sounds like you are already using a separate router that you are happy with.

Yeah i think then you would have a really cool complete driver profile. Also remember a lot of users have work outlook and Office 365 is the biggest office platform on the platform. You would have a bigger user base this way.
i am happy to beta test for you if you would like

This driver is awesome:
1) it allows you to automate based on calendar but also allow you pull up calendar in the mobile app and T3! Fav to home and it doesn't matter that it is in the listen area.
2) and I have been beta testing it for a week! So it's solid

+1 for the Blackwire driver. I've got three of these TV's in a project, all working just fine, including the Mini apps for individual streaming services.

msgreenf reacted to eggzlot in Roku Issues
Didn’t work. I checked and VS is at 1080p. I re did both the sink and source setup in VS, I did a regen for all profiles, etc. It clearly seems to be an HDMI issue with massive stuttering and no audio. Furthermore Hulu works on the Roku but if I try Netflix on the Roku (and it fails which it has done 100% of the time) and want to go to another channel on the Roku (say Hulu) I cannot do it. It gets all jammed up, I have to shut off the room then go back and do “watch hulu roku” to get it working.
For now I guess I’ll just stick to the AFT for Netflix though the interface/controls on the Roku are way nicer. And I’ll have to remove the Roku from the matrix and plug it directly into a TV and I guess troubleshoot the old school way.
