this is likely an in person service call kinda problem. I have a feeling something could have been fried in the power outage

@dinom and @Cartnj the updated drivers are attached. For whatever reason the documentation has been lost when I converted them from C4I to C4Z files (Sorry, I haven't written drivers for a few years). I'll pass the updated Lua code along to the driver team and hopefully they can put out an official fix.

best solution: rewire with fiber. 300ft with splices is a terrible idea.

I have an ecobee. It integrates well and the newer ones look even more slick with Alexa / Spotify built in.

I just released V5 which renames the get upcoming events action to refresh events which now refreshes upcoming events & todays events instead of just upcoming events. Also todays events are now updated every hour on the dot instead of every day.
Outlook calendar - I'm hoping to release it this week sometime!

Just had a customer who insisted he had a bad DS2 and turned out it was just the wire...

Have you tried connecting the DS2 directly to the poe source (switch?) with a short pre-made cat5/6?

you should be on 2.10.6. No reason to be on 2.10.5 - lots of bug fixes in 2.10.6

all certified tech were shown how to get streaming radio station from the code side of a web page.. I just went to the local cable news station and searched through the page code until I found the url for that page.. Pretty easy and I know very little about web development!

msgreenf reacted to alanchow in Sky Q ip driver
That is crazy that they haven't changed it yet. This change was implemented in Sky Q firmware Q060.000.28.00L which was released in December 2017.
When this first came out we were inundated with support tickets, calls, emails, etc. Not something pleasant to wake up to on a Saturday i'll tell you that much. Anyway we logged in remotely to a system and after 2 hours of digging figured out that it was a simple port number change and pushed out updates to every site with the driver installed to ensure that no futher systems were effected.
Since then we have posted 14 updates to the driver to add new functionality to support all our friends in the UK including our most recent update which is for OS 3.0 favourting

msgreenf reacted to Time2Jet in Alexa Discovering Duplicates
Followed those instructions. I’ve got it working. But... I have all of these dups in Alexa. Maybe I should just ignore them. Everything is responding and more, so unless there’s a real good reason, I’m going to leave it.

I agree it would be pretty cool, but it does seem a bit unnecessary? Mind you, I will look into it but no promises I'll even post back my findings!

Agreed, thanks... and I have that (not the best but I have a bell sound)... I just like the idea of concatenating this into an announcement with TTS

That said, here’s perhaps some good news ( I hope :/ ). I purchased 4 lightly used fully updated Pakedge WX-1’s last night. I’ve got a bunch of cabling to run anyway (for added speakers, touch pads, etc) so I’m going to add 3 to my home.
That doesn’t solve the current mystery however.

? how does that mean your network/internet is fine.
I would concur with lippavisual above, you need to check your network

From your numerous posts lately with problems, I’d really start looking at your network.
all of these problems can stem from network issues.
whats your network setup?

msgreenf reacted to sonic30101 in iPad Control4 App Listen Screen Not Working Correctly
I ran into this on a job we upgraded to OS3. Was not happening prior. Ended up the comcast modem was not in bridge mode going into the araknis router causing a double nat and the packets were getting lost in the translations

msgreenf reacted to ILoveC4 in How do you like OS3 so far?
In my project it’s done at the room level. On any device you modify a room, and it’s that way in every device. I wish I could configure devices separately.
