Tickle Me Elmo sold out - but that wasn't a good product said 99% of the world :-) But that 1% sure loved that furry monster!  So maybe the Neeo remote is a furry monster?

sounds like a crock - lol.  Sounds like a bad update and they are working on a newer one

At first, I was looking at it constantly. Sometimes it even requires 2 hands! The last couple of weeks I’ve been using it more and getting better with it, but still look down sometimes. I wish we could choose what buttons were displayed and where on the touchscreen part. Things like the “Close Caption” button - I’d love to get rid of that. 
 
I do have to say that hitting a single button to launch a video source is nice. I’ve committed myself to using it more lately. To me, it almost feels like I need to put the SR remotes away and go all NEEO to force me and my family to use it to get a better review. 

No one wants to pay for anything. We can easily enable licenses on subscriptions and have even discussed it many times for drivers that cost us to support (servers etc).

ROFL. On a t3 you won't be able to tell 720 from 1080 from 4k or 8k...it's just trying to keep up w the number game

i would look at your roku video settings and see if its set to auto - if it is i would set it the video settings of the denon and see if that helps.  IT could just be having trouble negotiating.  Roku OS 9.2 just came out about 2 weeks ago and that could have changed things.

Until you can understand how a driver works (bindings, proxies, protocols, connections, actions, commands etc.) there isn’t much you would be able to do. You could look at some open source drivers that are probably floating around on github. You could also look at the C4 driver database online, download a few and dig into them - if they aren’t encrypted that is.
If at some point you felt like you understood it all I reckon you could email C4 about becoming a partner and getting access to the DriverWorks SDK and development tools. From there, your first driver is a
print(“hello world”) away. 

oh no way, Roku is the way to go. Honestly, buy a roku pro and I will set it for free for you. Buy a Roku Ultra 4k, put it in your rack and wire it up and configure it and message me. I would love to get you going with Roku. Your dealer is wrong that Apple TV is better.

Yeah, maybe the more *confusing* part is trying to explain why Control4 provides drivers/integration for some products and relies on paid 3rd party developers for other. 
Also seems likely to me that, as mentioned above, it’s just people not wanting to pay. In reality it’s not that hard of a concept to grasp.

Sounds like the denon...did you have the Roku running thru the denon?

I've upgraded mine to 8K so I can do a daily mosquito census to know when to respray my property. Maybe they have a fly problem?

Exactly right. Its a little 7" touch panel!  Its not meant to watch video on it. A quick glance to see who is at your front door maybe..

But what video are you playing from the ea controller ? 

Yeah it is nice. I don’t ever use my old ATV3 because of it. But if the new Apple TV had the same solid Control4 integration as Roku, I would prefer the new Apple TV. Biggest reason is personal preference but there are some apps that are better on the ATV like the ESPN app where you can view multiple games at once. That said, I’m very happy with my Roku. 

As an android switch to Roku.

You should be able to do this without a truck roll. Get the ultra plug it in where the atv was and they the dealer to add the driver and bindings.

C4 has a free driver - i have been trying to get the audio obsessions driver too but can't
