Our version can automatically turn on the system and off the system when it detects audio.  This is great if you initiate something from say google cast.
Also we just added (yesterday) the ability for all of our mini apps to automatically update their app intents.  We implemented a new service on our servers where we can update the intents and the mini apps will check if there is an update once a day.

I'll take it a step further, depending on the wiring available in each box, any possible combination of dimmer and keypad may be possible, or impossible.
 
The basic, easiest way to explain it to not confuse a DIYer who sghouldn't be playing with electricity is saying that electricity can kill you or burn your house down and you need to get someone in that does know how to work with it on site, as per the first reply.

The switch should be in the box where the load wire is located. The keypad in the other box.
If you're asking questions about standard electrical wiring I highly suggest you hire an electrician.

they have good support, I've called before and the owner/engineer answered my questions.

Yep to what Alan said.  Their CEO has a lot of history in the movie industry with a lot of ties and they have a few big contracts with a few major studios already signed so it actually may work.  I read about this and though it seems totally off the wall; I personally know someone of extreme wealth and they would not bat an eyelash to have some friends over to have a new release play in their house.  they have spent millions on the house, home theater to rival a movie theater, so dropping $1500 for a night to see a movie isn’t a big deal.  It’s for the people who order a $3,000 bottle of wine and think nothing of it.  5 cups of liquid and it is gone but its on the menu at high end restaurants - there is a very small market for it.
Nothing against Alan/C4, I just assumed most of those integrations at that level use Crestron or other highly customized platforms for automation. I’d be curious how many C4 installs use this platform.  More power to you and hope you move a bunch of them because it is a unique idea.  Remember when the first plasma TVs were $10,000+ (the ones we could get at retail, not odd prototypes).  Now they are $500 (well LCD/LED).  Maybe one day its $15 to watch a movie at home, not $1500 - so good luck to the trailblazers!

You (and i) are probably not the intented market for this service.  Alot of integrators install systems into the social elite and incredibly wealthy.  The kind of people who probably wouldn't want to be disturbed in a normal cinema on a night out in town but still want to watch movies.

Sonos maybe. Control4? I don't see it. Eight stereo zones would take 16 of those things. 16 Alexas to annoy you.

you may also want to add the snap shot driver too so that you can restore the previous state of the room before the camera is selected.
 

Awesome feedback- I’ll pickup a bond bridge and go that route. 

Doubt it's a true bug, but without knowing the setup it's impossible to tell where the issue really is.
 
There's a few know setups that can cause something like this to happen if a few lines of programming aren't added (not a bug, it's actually expected behaviour based on internal setup that needs to be circumvented).

Yeah one of our staff did that for his home.  3 bedroom house with internal concrete walls.  A single Bond Bridge controls every blind in his house.  He ditched MyLink as well!

Just ditched mylink and moved the somfy to my bond! Simple and works better

We don’t have the ability to automatically install drivers into Control4.  As such the driver will create bindings for additional lights but your dealer will need to manually install each additional light driver.
Also not sure what you mean by Wemo.  Arnt we talking about LIFX?

Yep.  Our bond driver has quickly become the goto solution for Somfy RTS integration.  As Bond is wifi it can be installed anywhere where there is wifi signal.  It can control upto 30 RTS shades (along with other devices such as fans, fireplaces and more).  The RF signal in bond is stupidly strong but if for some reason your house is so big that you need multiple then it’s ok because these devices as mentioned are inexpensive.

I'm going to try this one out.  Why is this not all over the dealer forums though?  Any chance of this "breaking" like the MyQ driver?
