I would look at the director log.

just a guess, but something is causing your controller to lockup  which in term is causing your TS to lockup.  Watch your controller when the screens lock up and i bet you will see CPU spikes...

Working on it now. Its a little more complex for amcrest but once I have it working for amcrest and reolink that means I can add it to every driver

Honestly we need to know what sources your distributing.
It is a hard sell to tell a customer to upgrade their component video matrix is going to cost thousands. Larger 8x8 systems can cost $8000+ up in Canada.
These days with smaller cable boxes like Shaw BlueSky we can tuck them behind each TV without issue.
We simply rip the component video matrix out. Install cable boxes behind each TV. Maybe install a Roku or Apple TV for areas they want more streaming options. But BlueSky does have netflix and youtube built in so its pretty much all there.
If you have like 10+ TVs and your a die hard Blu-Ray guy then I guess sticking with a video matrix is still going to be your best bet. But if all you have is like 4-6 TVs just ditch it and set things up locally.
 
Sticking with the component system doesn't make sense at all. Don't buy adapters, don't rig things up. Its going to get messy. Either replace it or remove it.

i dont see why they would discontinue hvac stuff.  I have the original ones that work, they came out with a v2 or whatever but the original ones are still ticking
based on your set up/needs I think c4 is the way to go and I have no skin in the game.  its local, you can use your current wiring/sensors which are nice, etc.  why mess further.

again they are going in a hidden area in your house so if they are slightly rough who cares?
If I were going new build Ecobee is nice with the wireless sensor dont get me wrong, but you got the sensors already in the wall which is real nice so just tie it into a C4 Tstat
