msgreenf reacted to Cyknight in How to remove/find Variable Agent
While it would show you what it would have done in the past, this wouldn't allow you to remove it.
You'd have to redo any work done after the fact after step by step clearing the programming, then the events, and then as said make any changes manually again that were done to your system after the fact.
If it says unknown event, it won't be doing anything.
UNLESS you're looking to recreate some of the programming that was accidentally lost, you're on a wild goose chase.

Pretty sure that won't work and I program to go to black screensaver and then change it back to other screensaver during the day

msgreenf reacted to alanchow in Chowmain - Ultimate Hikvision Driver for Control4!
We used to have some magic to do this but Control4 is locking down their backend shortly. As such we can't use our backdoor trickery anymore. Justin has finalised the integration of cameras connected to NVRs so that will be released shortly after beta testers are cool with it.

msgreenf reacted to casperspooks in Araknis vs Ruckus WAP
Where is the PROOF that UB outperforms Ruckus? I've installed both and haven't seen proof of that that at all. Not asking about anecdotes; rather, actual published unbiased test reviews.

msgreenf reacted to c4toys in Remote programming needed
What is your location? Hard to find a onsite tech without this... I would hold off on remote programming.. ie., I'm not overly excited to come hang a tv for you. Now with that said, you also want some C4 programming, troubleshoot issues.. I would be happier to roll a truck for a couple hrs worth of work... Yes anyone can hang a TV, question is how many hands do you want in your system

msgreenf reacted to C4loso in Having issues with Apple TV
For anyone who’s interested. The fix was simple after all. I changed my Apple TV’s from manual IP on the Apple TV to automatic in network settings. I did my reservations on my network controller (Ubiquiti). Thanks for all the help.

Typically same day or next day from when I order them, they ship out. It's fully automated at this point.

msgreenf reacted to Cyknight in APD install: traveller wire
Because that's not how it works.
On the older lighting, the blue was an optional power wire (which you would more commonly use to create a jumper to a touchscreen - the idea being that you could cut power on the dimmer with the pull out to reboot the touchscreen).
On the current gen stuff, the yellow wire is a data wire for AUX keypads.

msgreenf reacted to sitdownman in Controlling a PC in C4
MCE takes just a little bit of set up but it's pretty straight forward. I'm loving controlling my pc from the couch with my sr260. It was updated a little further today too. Thx Charlie!

msgreenf reacted to alanchow in Webhooks Outbound. Ifttt maker
Just tested again just now to be sure and it works fine.
Some troubleshooting steps.
Verify active driver licence Verify IFTTT Key matches what you've got in your IFTTT account Verify that the Event and Values match (note case sensitive) If all of that fails please submit a ticket and we'll look further.

Why not use a Universal Mini App driver?
Makes it so you can select Netflix, Youtube, or any of the supported apps on a few different devices (e.g. Roku) and everything automatically switches correctly.

msgreenf reacted to Don Cohen in LG - TV - Question
See my post above - I added the Universal Disney+ Driver, and using the Bravia App Selector, was able to Connect this to my Sony 900E TV. Same for a few others: Acorn, CBS All Access).
As Mitch indicated above, since it involves adding a Driver, and establishing a Connection, this is a dealer function. Actually that's a guess on my part, since I haven't played with HE, but if Mitch says that's the way it is, that's good enough for me.
