This is avaialble now. If you are on the houselogix version then you will need to upgrade to the driverCentral version. If you are already on the driverCentral version then no need to do anything. It should have automatically updated. The hosting service comes with the driver cost so no additional fees apart from the driver purchase. At this stage there is no limits to how many you pictures you can upload. At this point in time the images are hosted indefinately. Once we get a good idea on how much resources it uses we will decide on how long images will live on our servers for. It's all under the hood. You won't notice anything different on any of our drivers but should just work.

Ok we have now created our own image hosting service running on our own servers. Everyone who is on driverCentral will have an update pushed out to them within the next 24 hours. People who are on houselogix will need to upgrade to the driverCentral version.

Yep it'll work fine for what you want. It's only the image upload for pushover and chunk.io functionality that is effected.

Yes Our SMTP driver attaches images to the email. No 3rd party services used. Its the best way of doing it to be honest. All of our updates will be uploaded to driverCentral. There is a changelog section for each product which we use as well to advise of any driver updates Deciantsart was the service we used before chunk.io. I am starting to think we may need to create our own service to stop breakage going forward.

Push safer does offer iOS, android and windows 10 applications. It is a premium service but the image uploads are hosted in their own internal server.

We recently discovered that chunk.io has deliberately broken our access to their stuff. in the meantime please use the pushsafer driver as this has native image upload built in.

For whole home energy monitoring we have two solutions. You can use he eGauge which has 10 CT clamps and is IP based. Our driver has minimum and maximum triggers on each circuit so you can program what to do when it exceeds those values. You can also use the Saturn South products which is Zigbee based and have either a single clamp or three clamps. Again our driver has a minimum and maximum trigger on each clamp. if however you want to monitor an individual outlet then I recommend using the belkin wemo insight switch. Our driver has minimum and maximum triggers on it as well plus you can auto select devices. This is useful for no control devices such as Playstation, Xboxes, etc. Control4 will auto select the device when it detects that it has left an idle state and will auto turn off the room if it is still the selected device when it returns to an idle state. anyway if you guys want to talk energy feel free to reach out. one of the companies I am a part of specialises in energy management for utilities.

if you hold the buttons down it will achieve this until you let go at 8x speed otherwise it'll do the small step fwd / back.

I just want to add that without the support of paying customers we honestly can't do this as a business so it would be silly for us to not support those who support us:) So we do everything we can do to make those who have bought licences off of us happy.

Yep it is not manditory for you to migrate. You can just do nothing and it'll work forever even if houselogix were to shut shop (which they arn't). We are committed to supporting those who have purchased off of us hence why we are offering migration for those who want to update their drivers to the latest versions.

We are working on migration of all licences purchased from Houselogix to driverCentral. Your dealer will need to install the driverCentral cloud driver and manually update the driver you have purchased on houselogix to the driverCentral version). After that its all automatic. When we issue an update the cloud driver will detect that you are running an older version and update it to the latest. At this stage apart from migration to the new marketplace there are no new functionality so it is safe to keep using the houselogix versions. We will be releasing 3 or 4 new drivers to coincide with CEDIA Expo though so keep your eyes peeled on the forums or our social media.

UPDATE The IntesisBox driver for Control4 now includes 10 x zone relay bindings which can be named. This makes damper based zone control extremely easy to control with full 2 way feedback of relay states in the Thermostat interface.

Thanks for the feedback. Its something we wanted to do originally but Control4's Media Service Proxy didn't notify us if it where the request came from (watch or listen). As such we couldn't actually implement this. Its definately something i'd like to do if i can figure it out.
