    No need. We updated our Kodi Full driver to support the IRUSB dongle. As soon as you quit Kodi it will change the IRUSB mode so you can navigate and use other apps. It will also launch Kodi (if it is not already open) when you select it as a source.

    Honeywell adapter to plug in a honeywell thermostat.. you should probably get your dealer to do everything since if you screw it up you'll probably screw up your hvac system.

    As mentioned you need to get a honeywell adapter from them though honestly i haven't worked with them for about 10 years but back when i used to work for the local Control4 distributor we tested it out and it worked fine. Smart Temp will be able to tell you the exact model you need. Again keyword 'honeywell adapter'. Then go to your Control4 dealer and get him to install a Control4 thermostat (or other honeywell based one if you prefer).

    In Australia NSW utilises Actron heavily, QLD/WA used advantage air and VIC uses Brivis. god knows what’s popular in the other states. anyway the only Australian specific integration I have is Advantage Air. apart from that IntesisBox handles most split systems and also japanese ducted / VRV systems

    We get a few requests for actron. Seems to only come from NSW. The local area sales manager has tried putting me in touch with them but they don’t answer my emails.

    I don't have a wifi motion sensor solution that integrates direct. Don't even know of one off the top of my head to be honest. Regardless i'd get the HVAC integration done first before worrying about other stuff. Intesis Support will be able to advise if your HVAC system is supported. Just contact them with your make and model and they will advise which IntesisBox to purchase. Some systems have a communications port on it which provides true two way control using the correct IntesisBox.     HVAC Systems have discrete IR codes. As such it assumes that if it emits the code then it is on that particular mode.

    I have one bulb and a strip at home and it hasn’t dropped off. one bulb at the office and that has been strong too. having said that it may have dropped off wifi and automatically reconnected wigrout me noticing.

    The driver will recognise resolution changes but not HDR output (there is no feedback on this from the Oppo). You can programatically turn HDR on and off though so maybe program against that action.

    UPDATE The Sky Channels driver will now only display subscribed channels if you enter in a Sky Q IP Address. This means that if you change your subscription or do not have all packages you will now get the channels only you have subscribed to!

    If you install the IRUSB then yes it will automatically launch Kodi when you select the driver. It will also change to IRUSB commands when it detects that Kodi has quit allowing you to control the android box.

    I tested this out on the chunk.io and the pushover drivers and they both work fine. Can't replicate it. I'm not sure where this ;charset="UTF-8" is coming from. I can't replicate this. Our SMTP driver you can enter any arbitary HTML you want. so for images you would do this to embedd an image <img src = 'PARAM{XXX,YYY}'> or this to link an image <a href = 'PARAM{XXX,YYY}'>Click here</a> Although you should probably use the built in image attachment instead. That way you're not hosting the image but attaching it.

    Glad to see that your resolution functionality is resolved. You should probably call support up or use the live chat if you have problems speaking to them. We just pass through what Oppo sends to us. I am not sure how they determine when to provide this aspect feedback as it was only recently introduced. It is actually undocumented at this stage so we had to get our local distributor to get the information back. However if you want a better experience you should probably invest in Kaleidescape. From my understanding though most discs are mastered incorrectly and do not provide good feedback as to their aspect ratio and as such they have someone who manually goes through each movie to ensure proper aspect ratios (https://www.residentialsystems.com/res-blogs/1292)

    Kodi on a high end HTPC will run better. For an off the shelf solution though the Nvidia shield will work better. Plus it will provide additional benefits like netflix, hulu, youtube, google cast, etc. You will need a dealer to install the latest copy of the driver but they will be able to do this remotely.

    No need to root it or do anything special. You just install the IRUSB app from play store. We have tested this on Nvidia Shield, Fire TV and Foxtel Now with great success.

    No the IRUSB does not require IR for IP control. The reason why its called IRUSB is that it also has (on top of IP control) IR control and IR output (which you can use as an ADDITIONAL IR output for your control4 system).

    The IRUSB is required to inject USBHID commands into the android device and will work with pretty much any android device. We have tested it with quite a few here in Australia

    Its in the PDF installation guide. See section on Advanced Programming for examples on how to set RGB value or start color flow. Also if your dealer doesn't know how to do general programming actions i'd be concerned.

    UPDATE The Oppo driver has now been updated to provide aspect ratio feedback for UDP-203 and UDP-205 models. This is useful for programming automated screen masking and projection modes for systems with projectors.

    The easiest way to program up keypads and Yeelights is to utilise the RGB wheel in the programming actions. This will give you precise control over the colors.

    That isn't really the delay. The delay is in actually playing the announcement through Control4's announcement agent. Generation and downloading of the files is usually less than a second. If you require speedy playback of announcements my recommendation is to utilise our driver with Sonos or with an always on Kodi system.
