  1. Yeah forums are the worst way of troubleshooting problems. I won't be on the forums as much over the next 7 weeks. Have 5 contracts to finish up and a 2 week holiday. Email will always get through to me.
  2. Normally i'm quicker but it is getting hard for me to keep up with the forums (as much as i love it). We are getting more and more contracts so its hard for me come to the forum let alone to keep up with threads like this. Best way to contact us is via email or via the contact us page on our website. Email me some logs capturing it the problem (I thought this had something to do with the automatic room on stuff and i couldn't replicate it on my test bench).
  3. Doesn't really make sense. You'll need to provide me with remote access to your system to troubleshoot. Its probably best to communicate this via email. Ask Matt to reach out to me to set all of this up.
  4. Ok have implemented the home button mapped to guide as per request. Remember our driver has automatic room on and room off functionality built in. This means that you can cast content to your shield from your phone, tablet or event using Google Home and Control4 will automatically turn on the tv, receiver to the right input. After a period of silence Control4 will turn off the system if the shield is still the current selected source in case you have paused and have forgotten about it (definable in the driver's properties) https://www.chowmainsoft.com/irusb-control4
  5. Glad you like it. We are always looking at ways to improve the driver. What you are asking for involves a major upgrade to our driver which will require rewriting a lot of the driver. not impossible though probably not on the cards in the immediate future.
  6. Shouldn’t be the case. The driver now uses IRUSB commands for all transport controls. Has worked fine for me in Netflix mini apps. we should be releasing this soon. I’ve been running this in my house and it has passed the wife test.
  7. Zuhair reached out via PM to me on this. Answer in short is you can do everything via Composer HE apart from install the driver.
  8. I have worked with the Control4 escalation team on this issue. They have ruled out the driver and are looking into other causes for the project issue.
  9. Without access to the site i am going to make a guess that the issue is an IP conflict between the Belkin Wemo device and the SkyQ devices. Looks like the wemo driver is having trouble connecting and receiving data correctly since it has a conflict. I'm going to guess that the wemo driver is creating timers and/or has a memory leak due to the IP conflict. I am speculating here but if this is the case i would firstly fix your network by making sure there are no conflicts and then i'd recommend utilising our wemo driver that has self healing. https://www.chowmainsoft.com/belkin-wemo
  10. The data you have sent is fir device ID 4731 is UPnP data. Our driver does not utilise UPnP. From the looks of the port number and data you have sent i'd say its a Belkin Wemo driver. As mentioned i am happy to log in and have a look to assist with diagnosing the problem.
  11. Hi Jason, As mentioned in my email I am happy to assist. We log in and diagnose issues for faults all the time. Most issues are not ours but those that are faults of ours we resolve promptly. I have cc'd in the ASM's for your region who can vouch for our driver since it is extremely popular in the UK.
  12. I am confident in saying we don't have a memory leaks or cpu utilisation issues with our driver (otherwise the UK Control4 office will have notified me by now - Also note UK support guys know the driver inside out as well since it is quite popular in the UK). I am happy to assist in pinpointing your system issues to the problematic programming and/or drivers. You will need to provide me with remote access to do this via VPN or 4sight.
  13. No the Oppo API does not allow us to do this. We have several other drivers for other products that will allow you to do this. https://www.chowmainsoft.com/kodi-xbmc-full-driver-for-control4 https://www.chowmainsoft.com/plex-full-driver-for-control4 https://www.chowmainsoft.com/kaleidescape
  14. Our IFTTT driver is inbound and outbound. Outbound utilises IFTTT Maker Channel (now called webhooks for some reason). You can associate any variable you want in the driver ot send it out. Just need to create a recipe which will be something like this. IF Webhook then Pushover
  15. we added HDHomeRun yesterday to our driver as a mini app when we did the major update.
  16. He is probably advising you of the cost of our driver which offers some unique features such as the ability to automatically turn the system on and off based on detection of audio. This is used for things like automating system on via casting youtube, netflix and other content from either your mobile phone/tablet or by using voice commands from Google Home. https://www.drivercentral.io/platforms/control4-drivers/videostorm-irusb-nvidia-shield-amazon-fire-tv-driver-for-control4-chowmain/
  17. We updated our IRUSB driver to support auto room on and auto room off.
  18. MAJOR UPDATE Version #20180228- 28-FEB-2018 ⦁ Added Auto Room Off after x amount of minutes of silence. This is good for automatically turning the room off if nothing has been playing after a prolonged period of time. Version #20180227- 27-FEB-2018 ⦁ Changed Play/Play/Stop buttons to be more unified ⦁ Changed room off sequence ⦁ Implemented Auto Room On based on if audio is detected. This is great for Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Youtube, Plex, etc) ⦁ Added ON proxy command which sends a IRUSB wake command. Should assist in waking the screen on some boxes.
  19. I missed this for some reason. In future its probably best to submit a query via our website if you have questions.
  20. How reactive is the Hue motion in Control4? I thought that the API was poll based which means it wouldn't be instant.
  21. Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately we cannot implement you request due to limitations in IFTTT.
  22. Actually i have now replicated this. Turns out when Kodi is in the background it doesn't like jumping screens. I have updated the beta driver to fix this. Also i have added the ability to automatically turn the room on when it detects audio. This is great for things like chromecast when you cast to the Shield and the TV will automatically turn on for you. Play/Pause/Stop/Skip Next/Skip Previous all work for cast.
  23. There is actually no difference between the old driver and new driver for the Kodi portion of the driver. Have you changed anything else? We do have a beta version of the driver. Not sure if your dealer has provided you with that. Easiest way of telling if it is the old vs new is that the old version does not allow you to navigate other apps whilst Kodi is running in the background.
  24. We have 3 alarm systems drivers coming this year starting with a new Elk M1 driver next month.
