  1. It could be something silly like the programmer programming a button to start volume down but not do a stop volume down. Hard to say without reviewing the project. Honestly though this is something your dealer / integrator should resolve and if they can't resolve it they will need to contact Control4 technical support.
  2. Yeah one of our staff did that for his home. 3 bedroom house with internal concrete walls. A single Bond Bridge controls every blind in his house. He ditched MyLink as well!
  3. The dimming functionality is in the bulb itself. Never dim a smart bulb as you will damage the electronics. More information about our TP-Link suite of drivers can be found here Driver Information
  4. Yep. Our bond driver has quickly become the goto solution for Somfy RTS integration. As Bond is wifi it can be installed anywhere where there is wifi signal. It can control upto 30 RTS shades (along with other devices such as fans, fireplaces and more). The RF signal in bond is stupidly strong but if for some reason your house is so big that you need multiple then it’s ok because these devices as mentioned are inexpensive. Driver Information
  5. We don’t have the ability to automatically install drivers into Control4. As such the driver will create bindings for additional lights but your dealer will need to manually install each additional light driver. Also not sure what you mean by Wemo. Arnt we talking about LIFX?
  6. If HD Homerun is installed as a PVR Backend in Kodi then it will work through our Kodi Live TV mini driver including live tv and recordings like screenshots below
  7. Quite a lot of fireplaces nowadays come with RF remotes or IR remotes. If your one does then it will likely work with Bond Bridge. Check the driver out via the link below. https://www.chowmainsoft.com/bond-control4
  8. This is correct. Both our office and my house runs on Unifi and it works fine.
  9. We helped Control4 built a solution for MDU's a while back. Basically you will need the following architecture. Control4 communications server Control4 DS2 per residence Control4 DS2 per gate / entry The driver talks to a service on the communications server which will manage entry codes including available times. Codes will only work on gate / entry & that particular residence. This is all managed through a T3 webview application that is served off of the communications server. Here are some screenshots and installation guide for reference. The MDU guys at Control4 will be able to provide dealers with the driver.
  10. Dealers can create their own by modifying the drivers XML, images and the C4Z filename. XML changes required are • name • manufacturer • default for the intent • image locations (must match C4Z filename)
  11. That is one of ours. Though if you’re going to pay for that then you’re better off just buying our belkin Wemo driver which allows for proper support of lighting (inclusive of dimmers) and has instantaneous two way feedback, energy management and more. https://www.chowmainsoft.com/belkin-wemo

  13. I did not write this driver so can't comment on what the problem could possibly be. Please get your dealer to contact our technical support for assistance with the driver so we can troubleshoot. Note we may need to remotely access the system to figure out what could be the problem. https://www.chowmainsoft.com/support
  14. For those of you who are undecided the Neeo remote combines functionality of the SR-260 and the T3 touchscreen. It does take a while to get used to but alot of functionality you would normally do on say a touchscreen you can now do on your remote. For example here is what our Kodi Full & our Kaleidescape drivers look like on the Neeo.
  15. Channel surfing is pretty easy on the Neeo remote. Here is what our Sky driver looks like on the remote. Look at that sexyness
  16. Holy shit when did they release that. Will have to get one to check it out. In theory it should just work with our existing bulb driver. Everything we have tested thus far has worked well on that driver.
  17. I see no reason why the transformers will be damaged though you will definately damage the bulbs if they are DC only. Your MR16 bulbs work because of the MR16 LED bulbs contain electronics to convert from AC to DC. In short. Don't plug DC stuff into AC and vice versa. Also no dimming of things that are not dimmable. Another way to break things.
  18. i'm guessing the lower end version will be like the amazon stick where you would just use a breakout cable.
  19. Yep. What is also nice is since it’s wifi you can throw bond anywhere that you have wifi coverage. Controls up to 30 devices per bond bridge.
  20. Best thing I’ve seen in the past few years is Bond bridge. Fills a massive gap in Control4 and has skyrocketed to become one of our top drivers in the past month. Controls Somfy RTS shading, every single RF fan sold at Lowe’s and Home Depot among with RF controlled fireplaces. http://www.chowmainsoft.com/bond-control4
  21. Sounds like some sort of intermittent network problem between the controller and the bulbs. Can only speculate as its hard to troubleshoot without access to your system and without working with your dealer.
  22. Most likely cause is connectivity issues between Control4 and the bulbs. having said that blinking is weird so might mean it is working but you have some sort of weird programming that is causing non desirable behaviour. get your dealer to submit a ticket to driverCentral for assistance.
  23. Or wifi using bond home in all honesty why not contact the dealer who installed it?
