  1. Or you can just update the driver to the latest which has button bindings (introduced two versions ago) https://drivercentral.io/platforms/control4-drivers/climate-fan-fireplace/bond-bridge/
  2. If you are using Bond then yes you can with our driver http://www.chowmainsoft.com/bond-control4
  3. This is actually correct. You don't see the current playing source purely because it is a multi proxy source. The media player proxy which we need to utilise to provide the transport controls is what we use once the movie is selected. This proxy does not support artwork.
  4. Bond works with remotes that are 350-450mhz. it does not differentiate based on things like gas or electrical as it honestly doesn’t know the difference. You can provide the FCC ID on the back of the remote to Bond along with the make and manufacturer and they will advise if it is compatible.
  5. This is more for dealers but we are having a black friday sale to say thanks to all the dealers who are buying this driver. Its a hot driver and alot of you are bulk buying. So to say thanks we are reducing the volumes required and increasing the discounts!
  6. @RyanE is the father of driverworks and has been around with Control4 since forever. Like Phast forever.
  7. Savant's blueprint software is locked down to dealers only (dealers used to have to pay for blueprint licences but not sure if they do that anymore. We paid a few thousand dollars back when i used to program it for a licence). The software is not like composer where you can program the system on the fly. You need to create the project in blueprint before uploading to to the Savant Host. This takes a few minutes each time and if you make a mistake you do it all over again. Like all professionally installed home automation systems it is not designed to be end-user programmable. Although Savant used to be have affiliations iwth Apple (it utilised mac minis for their hosts) they have now introduced linuxed based entry level hosts to bring down the financial barrier for level of entry. Sounds like the house is either using HDBaseT or AVoverIP technology for video distribution. Assuming they just ran CAT6 to each TV location.
  8. Our CTO has made me throw out all of our old Control4 gear in our office. Recycled quite a bit of e-waste. Several HC300s, HC200s, Media Controllers, HTC's, mini touch screens and even the old school sytem remote controls. The way i look at it if you're invested in the eco-system just upgrade to the latest and greatest (kind of like upgrading cars).
  9. Our version can automatically turn on the system and off the system when it detects audio. This is great if you initiate something from say google cast. Also we just added (yesterday) the ability for all of our mini apps to automatically update their app intents. We implemented a new service on our servers where we can update the intents and the mini apps will check if there is an update once a day.
  10. Yep TP-Link gave us some when they were released here in Australia. Tested and works fine.
  11. As the guy who wrote the driver and worked with Advantage Air on this i am telling you that you can't do that.
  12. To be honest we're writing drivers for multiple platforms for this including Crestron. We just got out Control4 and ELAN first as our other systems have a bigger backlog.
  13. Control4 communicates to the MyAir tablet for control. You can't remove the MyAir tablet as it is core to the system.
  14. You (and i) are probably not the intented market for this service. Alot of integrators install systems into the social elite and incredibly wealthy. The kind of people who probably wouldn't want to be disturbed in a normal cinema on a night out in town but still want to watch movies.
  15. You can't remove the MyAir tablet as the driver communications to the tablet for control.
