  1. (1) The Zappiti account field is blank. I expected it to show the account the player was logged into (or for the driver to have you enter account/password and have the driver log in) The driver polls for this info and honestly it doesn't do anything. I only put it there because i got the info in the API. (2) The Power Setup field said “Always On” and was greeted out though it looked like it was a drop down box. Is this correct? I’m not sure I want to have the box always on which brings me to Zappiti has a bug at the moment where if you power it off for extended periods of time we lose IP control. As such we removed power on and power off until they resolve it (if they ever do). (3) After the Room turned off I noticed a status every 5 seconds (“Received Last media” or “Received Is Playing”). Why is the driver polling if Zappiti isn’t an active source? The driver has the ability to automatically turn the room on should it detect if it detects playback. This is useful if you choose to control Zappiti through other means. (4) There don’t seem to be any Zappiti related events or variables to program off of. I would like to be able to know what title is selected and/or playing at minimum and probably more. Zappiti doesn't really have that much feedback. In fact they didn't implement ANY feedback until we asked them to and all they really gave us is playing true or false and a method to get the last selected movie. Zappiti does not give feedback as to if it is playing, paused, stopped, etc which we have asked for. I would look at this as a better version of the Dune media player with library support rather than a cheaper version of Kaleidescape. If you're after events and feedback Kaleidescape is ahead of the pack by far. (4.5) Ditto Device specific events. Looks like the only thing you can do is launch a specific title. As above (5) it would be nice to have a binding for the HDMI Audio only output in the virtual switcher. This is available on the SE but not the mini. This is a single zone player. As such you adding additional outputs realy doesn't do anything. Just double bind the HDMI output thats already there.
  2. That is the back box for the touchscreen not the electronics.
  3. Control4 knowledge base article. Log in with your dealer account to the Control4 website and you can search for it.
  4. We are actually working with light wave on this. It will be a licenced driver and at this early stage it’s unknown how much we will charge for it. Should be out later this year.
  5. Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately with URC its a compiled system and as such its a bit harder to setup than our Control4 and ELAN drivers which both are setup on live systems. Please reach out to our support desk (http://www.chowmainsoft.com/support) and we'll help you troubleshoot the problem.
  6. This is not true. Bond's RF transmission is only one-way. The only exception to this is smart by bond fans where we get true bi-directional control.
  7. For reference this is a Smart By Bond controller which can be retrofit into standard ceiling fans to make it smart. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Universal-Smart-Wi-Fi-4-Speed-Ceiling-Fan-Remote-Works-with-Google-Assistant-SmartThings-and-Alexa-99434/311264804 allows 4 fan speeeds, dimmable light and is compatible with most major brand downrod style ceiling fans - Hampton Bay, Home Decorators collection, hunter and more
  8. Generic devices were added in for garage doors. The reason why they couldn’t call it garage doors in specific was due to laws prohibiting them from controlling garage doors without visual feedback. Our driver will allow you to control these generic devices for open / close / on / off control.
  9. We did that in the last version already. We got a bit impatient waiting for Control4 to implement dynamic speeds so we forked the driver. Just select the one with the speed that suits not as elegant but it works
  10. The driver provides fan speeds and on/off lighting control on all navigator user interfaces. It also provides 0-100 light dimming for smart by bond fans. it does not map other functions to navigator but all commands are accessible within programming. As such your programmer will need to map additional commands (like direction) to an experience button pressed or other programming event. Keypad button control is easily achieved as well as keypad bindings are available. the driver does provide Bi-directional control / feedback from the states that bond tracks internally. For bond bridge this is essentially one way but for smart by bond fans it is true two way (ie you can use the smart by bond remote and Control4 will feed back).
  11. We don’t have anything that will do this. Sorry.
  12. Given it has an RF remote it might be compatible with Bond Bridge http://chowmainsoft.com/bond-control4 If you reach out to Bond support with the remote controls FCC ID they will advise if its compatible or not.
  13. Chowmain - Light to Relay Driver The Chowmain light to relay driver allows you to connect any lightv2 proxy to a relay output. This enables you to control a device like a fan that is physically connected to a light from the proper Control4 navigator sub menu. If the light switch is physically turned on or off it will also provide feedback to the relay bound proxyFeatures On/Off control from correct navigator device (such as fan) On/Off feedback from physical control of the light Automatically hides lights from navigator. FAQ Can you give us some examples of how we could use this driver? This helps you correctly put a fan icon in navigator if you have connected a fan to a Control4 light switch. It can be connected to any relay bound motorised device as well. How do I find out more information about the driver? Please see the links below for more information about the driver. Chowmain Website How do I buy the driver? This driver can be purchased from our distributor driverCentral. Download Driver / Purchase Licence Do you provide trial licences? All Chowmain drivers for Control4 come with a 90 day trial. Who do i contact for technical support? We have two support desks. One in Australia and one in the US. Click on the link below for details. 14. It is an IR output not an input.
  15. The driver has a long home button. I'm not sure if this will do it for you as i don't use Kodi in that fashion (i use the Kodi full driver)
  16. I don’t know the answer to this question. The IRUSB driver is a generic drivers and one of the many buttons may map to that specific function or may not,
  17. DRIVER UPDATE Implemented Step by Step binding (this allows Control4 keypads to cycle between up-stop-down-stop for blinds easily) Implemented alternative method to get token. You can now enter in the BOND PIN (found on the rear of the bond bridge) along with the BOND ACCOUNT CODE (found under account info in the settings of the bond app for iOS or Android) Forked Fan driver so that there is now a version for each speed 2-7 as Control4 does not support dynamic fan speed limits. Please install the correct driver for the maximum amount of speeds your fan supports.
  18. We are still working on this with the BSHG guys. It’s a slow process and at this stage we have only finished the coffee machine (as that is what they sent us). it is coming though I can’t commit to any timeframes at this stage.
  19. I did mess around with it a bit but it was chugging due to the amount of data it was spewing out. Was spewing out data every 100ms and the HC250 i had at the time wasn't coping with it. Honestly though if you want to monitor solar, incoming mains, etc just get eGauge. https://www.chowmainsoft.com/egauge-eg3000
  20. It is an awesome multiroom amp. We released the driver 10 months ago
  21. Also you should probably ask driverworks questions in the driverworks forum. https://forums.control4.com/tt.aspx?forumid=98
  22. Nope not possible. You can only set variables of other drivers and send commands / actions to other drivers or if your driver is bound to a driver you can send proxy commands / notifications.
  23. The generic device type was implemented for garage doors and other devices. Although they don't specify it supports garage doors they can't say it does due to laws in certain american districts which don't allow for control over garage doors without visual feedback.
