Network Switch

In my home system I have the DSL Router (4 port)in a closet, a HC300 in the tv room and a HTC in the bar. Both the Tv room and the bar have 2 cat5 cables from the closet. I need to add ports in the closet and network access to other equipments in both rooms. Adding more cables is not an option. Should I use 1 of the cat5 from the router to the HC/HTC and add a switch in each of the rooms with the other cat5?

Please see the attached image and let me know if it is right or should I do something different
