eggzlot
So maybe a year ago (or less), Altice pumped out an update that pretty much killed IR control, therefore I couldn't use c4 commands. I scrambled, got some used TiVo gear with a CableCARD. Get an email today, Optimum/Altice is sunsetting the tech and it won't work as of 10/24 So I got ~20 days to figure out a plan. Going back to the boxes - has anyone figured out IR control on the Sagecom boxes? I am not opposed to the Altice Streaming Box, or getting a few apple TVs and using the app, but then I don't have the ability to type in numbers and that would drive my wife insane. Its an odd world where I pay $175 for cable/internet a month, have a 5 figure automation system, and cannot pull up a DVR menu or pause live TV...There has to be a way? eggzlot
I am going to keep talking to myself but maybe someone knows - the Altice boxes have a bluetooth remote. Is there any reliable way to learn BT codes in control4 with some sort of hub like a Bond Bridge for Bluetooth?
C4tune
Spitballing here. Solder wires to individual buttons of remote to some sort of IO contact device. Program accordingly. Sounds like an arduous task. You could even find some long term solution for the power supply instead of batteries.

C4tune
Booo! I was excited to see someone’s soldered remote job. I wonder how many buttons an average remote contains. It would be a cool job, prob an ugly rack shelf. Super brute force way to grab control. Love it.
