htjunkie
Trying to find out if say I AirPlay from my iPad to a Samsung Frame TV, then C4 would reflect the Frame TV is powered on and on AirPlay Input reflecting on the C4 app/remote, is this possible? Topfox
It would depend on what the Samsung frame driver variables expose, and then you’d have to write a routine to monitor it to start a session if true. My knee jerk reaction is no though. Most drivers I’ve seen from what I’ve seen could tell on/off but wouldn’t capture the AirPlay part of it. Don Cohen
I don't know about AirPlay and Samsung, but I do this with ChromeCast and a Sony TV (IP Control). When the TV's PowerState variable changes, and is true, that triggers switching the AVR to the correct input, and starts a session. I can then control volume, turn the room off as usual, etc.
