tommytrojan
Hi, I am on HC800 upgraded to 3.3.1 (last upgrade) and using LU862 Matrix for Video and C4-16ZAMSV3-B for Audio with PAMP-100 Amp. Big House with lots of zones and speakers and everything is working with SR260 remotes. At some point i would plan on upgrading to Core 5 system but for now the HC800 is working flawlessly with 70 zigbee lights and much more. Now that I have seen some videos on adding sub on Triad 8x8 switches is there any way I can add a sub on my audio switch driver that is from 2013 and tell composer to pair with zone? I have wireless sub that can be place remotely but can't figure out how to pair with zone. Is it possible in this setup?
chopedogg88
You need to upgrade your Audio matrix to a Triad in order to get the ability to pair a zone to create a 2.1 zone. msgreenf

The anthem matrix has dedicated sub out for the rooms. You should be able to connect your wireless sub to these. BTW, that’s a great idea if you can get them to work with no delay throughout the house vs wired. chopedogg88
Yeah the MDX-16 is a nice replacement for the old 8 zone matrix Amp. I'm an Anthem direct dealer let me know if you want one! Edited July 24 by chopedogg88
zaphod
How do you deliver the sub out throughout your house? Via baluns over ethernet? Coax? AP-123
Gutrmdp
Yeah the MDX-16 is a nice replacement for the old 8 zone matrix Amp. I'm an Anthem direct dealer let me know if you want one! How would you compare anthem to triad
chopedogg88
Well the Anthem MDX-16 is a matrix amplifier, whereas Triads are separate matrix and Amps. Typically in most of my installs I use a Triad AMS16 with Triad 8-zone amps (the new 125w/channel ones are great)
