RAV Posted July 22 Share Posted July 22 If you music library source was previously setup, and your installer setup a repeating daily scan of the drive (should have).... Find the Buffalo on the network, and copy new music into the existing folder containing your music as if you were copying to another drive on your computer/network. There's a Buffalo app to help you find the drive if you're not computer savvy. You'll likely need to wait a day before the new music shows to allow the scheduled scan to index, depending on what time it's set for. steinway379 Posted July 23 Author Share Posted July 23 Thank You all ..... yesterday i took the USB out of Buffulo drive and connected to laptop that had the new music . Also i need multiple "add" thru media and new music i added got added 5-6 times (LOL) ....... i m OK with that So NOT sure what i did worked . BUT the suggestion to wait day was true. In old days i used to refresh navigators and was able to add music instantly. to be very honest ...this is why i m now slowly steering AWAY from C4 . also in old days i was able to add pictures and display as screensaver easily also in old days i had EQ app onscreen also in old days i had menu that had thermostat, screensaver settings , etc etc on screen I just cant believe i ve had 250,800 now EA serius of controllers and seem to be going backwards meaning can t even do what i used to do in old days . I do really APPRECIATE all responses You can change how often the music scanning happens. the times were increased as library sizes increased and became a tax on the controller slowing everything else down. Use a DLNA server for the best music integration of a local library. EQ on app and touchscreens are avalaible for the Triad audio matrxies. Screen saver still has all of those settings and you have even more options than previous. you can still add images for the screen savers just as easily, not sure what issue you are running into.
