Auto-rotation wall mount for Samsung Art TV - any ideas how to control with C4?

Recommended Posts

I have bought a couple of Samsung Frame TVs, which are both fixed to the wall via Samsung Auto-Rotation Wall mounts. These are great as we can keep the TVs in portrait for Art mode, and then rotate them to landscape when watching TV.

Annoyingly the only way of controlling these is to pair them up to an existing Samsung TV art remote (which I believe is bluetooth) and use the rotate button on that remote.

Does anyone know of a workaround so that I can get Control4 to control this? Is there a bluetooth sending "device" with a C4 driver available for it?

Thanks very much

I am using the Rotator Mount with another version Samsung Qled variant and the rotation control was added in a update last year. Control done via Programming;

Version 209

  • Fixed DRIV-8134 (DRIV-8569): Serial control not functioning
  • Fixed Color buttons with Network control
  • Added Display Rotator Control device specific command
