AtlantaSteven
Hi My NEEO has been sitting in its charging base for couple months as I haven’t used it in a while. Now it seems hung/stuck. If I touch the screen while in the charging base it says “Charging”. It’s been in this same state for days. If I remove it from the base I get no response. See image. suggestions? Is there a way to reset it? Anyone else see this? thanks in advance.
chopedogg88
press and hold on power and mute buttons together for a few seconds
AtlantaSteven
I just tried that and I get to this screen. See image. I click on OK to reinstall software. Still back to the same Charging screen. I also tried to power off remote by holding power button but to no avail.

You aren't really supposed to use it while it is in the charger. BTW I have a similar issue with one of mine.
AtlantaSteven
If I take it out of the charger it’s totally unresponsive. I can’t even press and hold the mute and power buttons simultaneously if outside the base. I tried for over a minute; nothing.

Not something I've heard of with a Neeo before--but that's what it sounds like... Have you tried holding just the power button and nothing else? cybuch
yea, the NEEO is a huge POS. Charges, doesn't turn on. Doesn't charge, doesn't turn on. Turns on, works for weeks, back to not charging. POS

One other question -- are you using the USB charger that comes with the Neeo or a third party USB device? I've had some issues with the latter with the Neeo, even if it should technically work. AtlantaSteven
Yes I’m using everything that came with it; USB charger, base, cable, etc. After contacting my C4 supplier, since it’s still on warranty, they are replacing it. It will be a brand new unit. Now I need to decide whether to keep it or sell it. Anyone interested?

Cyknight
Thinking he means keep the replacement or sell it. I'd keep it. I've had zero issues with mine or the ones we've sold, but I'm no fan of the device itself (never liked the layout and limited buttons while not valuing a mini touchscreen all that high in general, plus the more or less requirement of a dedicated 2.4 channel if you want the thing to move around). That said, it's sale value will drop hard and fast and likely already has with the Halo's on the way.
Amr
Get rid of it on eBay! This is what I meant …
Neo1738
To each their own. You will find some on here like myself that have had no major issues (drop once a few months) compared to those with constant issues. Definitely thinking a batch run of them is bad at this point. Newer one *should* be better but hey if you can sell it on Ebay for roughly what it costs and get a Halo do that. If I thought I could get my $ from them would upgrade to Halo myself but for now mine work just fine can't justify the expense (or get wife approval lol).
