Jim Miller
I recently had my C4 updated to OS3. The 7" Infinity Edge screen, from the installation 11 years ago, did recognize the system and IP address and show connected. When I want to close out it wants a password. I tried my PW and the c0....password. No good. It is asking me to change my PW. Which one and why? Will the panel even work with OS3? Or is it time to change to either an Ipad or new panel? Thanks Jim
Neo1738
Don't believe those are technically compatible with OS3. RyanE
msgreenf
They are not compatible and your installer should have told you that.
Kyle Coolabode
You'll have to upgrade to at least the T3 or higher. Or get your dealer to bring you back to an older OS.
Jim Miller
Thank you. He and I discussed it probably wouldn't, but I tried a few things after he left and it made some connection until it didn't. I appreciate the replies, I'll quit trying. Probably use an Ipad wall mount, the OS3 app is very nice.

He had to delete them from the project to even do the upgrade.
Cyknight
There was a back door that (sort of) worked in the earliest OS3 versions but that's been dead since ... at least 3.1 maybe earlier. Certainly wasn't supported, and in as far as it worked, it was more or less limited to lighting...
Andrew luecke
The T3s were released 10 years ago (and they were replaced by the T4's ages ago). Time to upgrade.. Webview based drivers like Scheduler or contact us works heaps better on T4
Khemiicalz
Ipads and launch ports are better option in my opinion. They dont look nearly as good though.

Its good risk management to stick to the T4's imho.

PORTABLE screens I can see, but wall mount units....they're there to ALWAYS work, right away and are SO nice to have. Plan location(s) wisely to be efficient in them, and -costly as they are- they are worth it.
