Announcement not working on all selected zones

Recommended Posts

I have done a quick search, seems maybe 3.2+ having issues with announcements?

The amp is the matrix/amp, so no delays needed to trigger the 8  zones (only 4 active) - but, the announcements only play on the touch screens and one zone.

For example, if I have living, kitchen, master, garage - it will only play on living. But it will mute those zones. If I take away living, it will play on kitchen.

3.2.4 - tried to reboot. deleted agent. Im baffled!

in the agent for the specific announcement are those zones individually added and are the volumes set for each of the zones? you may have to raise the volume higher or lower for each separate zone, and yes depending upon the matrix amp you may need a delay or add some programming to have it announce more than one time

This is the matrix/amp, so a 500ms delay is adequate, unlike waiting for a dumb amp to turn on. This is a different issue I have not seen before:

The audio plays over zone 1 fine, mutes audio in 2,3,4 - but doesn't play. If I remove zone 1, it will mute and play in zone 2, and only mute 3,4 - but not play announcement.
