MatLOT
I am looking to add a number of dimmable lamps to a project and would like any recommendations for wall sockets that can be controlled using C4 drivers. Any recommendations or info appreciated. Mark

Definitely getting some more for some desk lamps
RAV
If you want to dim them, then you're using Control4 module, or Lutron Caseta or RA select with appropriate Bridge and modules. If you want to just switch them, TP link or Wemo with a paid driver, or Control4 modules.
DLite
Didn't Control4 just come out with their own receptacle outlets? Has anybody had experience with them yet? https://www.control4.com/docs/product/receptacle-outlet-switch/data-sheet/english/latest/receptacle-outlet-switch-data-sheet-rev-a.pdf
alanchow
If you want to dim lamps change the bulbs to smart bulbs. TP-Link and Yeelight are my picks as they both work well have dimming, color temp and RGBW variants. I have a mix of both at my place and they work great. I use them for my Christmas Tree and a dedicated socket for a large 'Star' decoration that I made that has a preset RGB cycle and just needs to be turned on and off. Also great choice for landscape lighting that uses low voltage LED with a transformer that plugs in and many other applications. But for lamps, I prefer using either Hue Bulbs (others may work, just no personal experience) or if it's a lamp that you can't change the bulb in : https://www.axxind.com/smarthome/lighting/ With lamps, the issue is you may want to put them 'right there' now, but if you change your mind later and you want them 'over there'..... just easier to adapt the lamp vs the socket at that point. sonic30101
I would go with smart bulbs over dimmer modules as well
MatLOT
All very good points folks. Thanks very much. I do agree that the smart bulbs over the sockets would be the better option. Flexibility and the ability to move the lamps. What driver combination do you find most usefull for Phillips hue and C4? Id want to make sure i give the client best use of scenes.
