mellie
Hi All New to C4 and I have the Home edition of Composer. I am trying to figure out how to use environmental data in programming. For example, if I would light to create a movie scene, I would like a condition to be: If the temperature outside is <=30 degrees, then turn on fireplace, if not, then do not turn on fireplace. My dealer installed a weather driver, but the only options I see are when the weather changes, not absolute values. Any ideas? 0 zaphod
Which Weather driver do you have? You should be able to pull weather as a variable from the weather driver and do a "if temp le 30 " command. I have some progamming done in this way - I think I am still using the Wunderground driver, but that only works for people who provide them with weather station info. 0 mellie
I am not sure, when I try to get info on the driver there is an error, but here is the image. I think it is the a C4 driver. I see it knows my temp. How do I use that in a variable?

0 South Africa C4 user
In programming, there should be device variable in the tree under the driver. You should find what you need there.

Hi All
New to C4 and I have the Home edition of Composer. I am trying to figure out how to use environmental data in programming.
For example, if I would light to create a movie scene, I would like a condition to be:
If the temperature outside is <=30 degrees, then turn on fireplace, if not, then do not turn on fireplace.
My dealer installed a weather driver, but the only options I see are when the weather changes, not absolute values.
Any ideas?
THanks
