I currently have 2 C4 audio zones both are getting their music apps through the native EA-5. When the Spotify App is opened (I have 4 users) the playback options are C4 Zone1 (Denon AVR Zone 1 - wired speakers) and C4 Zone2 (Denon Zone2 to Sonos (through TV out via optical to Sonos Playbar then wireless to the other Sonos 5.1 in the room). It’s so hit or miss it’s worthless. So I started thinking about bindings. The only audio I have out if the EA-5 is the HDMI into the Denon for OSD AND audio... so is it even possible to play separate instances of Spotify connect with only 1 audio output from the EA-5 (HDMI). Maybe this has been the issue all along. Issues are it’s buggy. Somerimes I select Zone1 and it plays to both, other times it doesn’t play. Could it be which person is playing? It’s all very confusing and enough so that I’m unloading Sonos for HEOS. If anyone thinks they can “fix” this, I’m willing to do a remote for your time.
