JA_Epic
I’ve inherited a Control4 system from a home I’ve bought. For the most part it’s been great. I finally pulled the trigger and bought a new projector to replace the existing one. I knew I’d have to manually turn the projector on until I can get help (even though the projector has C4 branding on it, lol). Anyway while trying to get things going last night I also updated the firmware on my theater receiver in hopes it would improve the compatibility with the new projector (it didn’t). The worst part though is now my Control4 system isn’t doing anything with the receiver, it won’t turn on, I can’t change the volume... Any ideas or trouble shooting steps I can try? I’m a programmer by trade, so any tools or tricks on how I can manage things on my side would be much appreciated as well
msgreenf
Most likely a static IP was reset during the firmware update or dhcp address changed or IP control was disabled on the receiver? It could be a few things
