Jaymondo
Hi All, ‘I have installed the intrinsic dev sky q ip driver onto my control4 system running composer 2.10.2 / HC800 i have put the ip address of the sky q box in the network/identify tab but the box is still showing off line. the port attached to this is 5900 however apparently sky have recently changed their port back to 49160 to be inline with the sky Hd boxes, ‘any ideas on how to swap ports would be greatly appreciated
Crustyloafer
Just use the paid for driver from Chowmainsoft, far better driver and much better support. Is still pretty cheap anyway, we use on every job with Sky+HD and Sky Q. http://www.chowmainsoft.com/uk-sky

This change was implemented in Sky Q firmware Q060.000.28.00L which was released in December 2017. When this first came out we were inundated with support tickets, calls, emails, etc. Not something pleasant to wake up to on a Saturday i'll tell you that much. Anyway we logged in remotely to a system and after 2 hours of digging figured out that it was a simple port number change and pushed out updates to every site with the driver installed to ensure that no futher systems were effected. Since then we have posted 14 updates to the driver to add new functionality to support all our friends in the UK including our most recent update which is for OS 3.0 favourting
