ILoveC4 Posted July 24, 2019 Share Posted July 24, 2019 So - the desire to communicate with the front door from touch panels was too great and I decided to put the DS2 mini in my new home over the Ring Elite (I considered Doorbird and what not as well but had ruled it down to those two). I have a Ring now, and last night I was going through their app looking at some motion alerts AND RECORDINGS to gain and understanding for when some people entered and exited our home while we were out of town (invited guests, but still curious). It got me thinking - is there a way to easily see a catalog of motion and Ring events with the C4 solution, and can I record those videos somewhere (Ring records to cloud, I’m happy to record to a local NVR)? You can set up email snapshots on door bell push and motion as desired (setup an separate email for it and use it to retain a history). There is no real way to see it within C4's interface however.
