Experiences with Samsung Frame TV?

I am thinking about replacing a Samsung C9000 TV (vey thin LED TV circa 2010) that is mounted on a wall with a Samsung Frame TV so that it looks more like an actual picture.  I like the idea of At Mode.

For those that have or have installed a Frame TV - what are your impressions of it, art mode and C4 integration?

Great idea, art mode is cool, IP Control works as long as you have the right driver and hard-wired is definitely ideal. Overall picture quality is not so good though probably due to the more matte finish on the LCD panel to make it look like artwork

This would be in a guest bedroom where the using the TV would be only used occasionally or for background TV watching.  Any “real” TV/movie watching would be done in other rooms.

is the PQ annoying?

With the new ip driver it works well, expect for the art mode.

Thinking about putting one in the master bedroom and want to be able to shut off the art mode at certain hour or maybe depending on the motion in the room. No way to shut off the art mode?

Yea make sure you can hide the enormous box. Dumbest idea I’ve ever seen.

How big is this box? I’ve seen these in action and thought they were pretty cool.

Hi. I've installed a coupe of Samsung 55" Frame TVs (model QE55LS03TAUXXU) but cannot find a driver which can start and stop Art Mode. I've found a few drivers which has Art mode as an action, but none seem to be able to activate Art mode simply.

I've seen that if you use the command "On power off mode to Art Mode (without app)" to ON, then you can then use the "power off" command and then the TV will indeed go to art mode. However then if you want to be able to go away from Art mode, you have to do the command "On power off mode to Art Mode (without app)" to OFF, then go power off, and start again from having the TV off.

This means to go from Art mode to watching an HDMI source, you have to turn the TV off, wait a while then restart the TV and then go HDMI. This all takes a while, and sometimes the commands don't all go through.

If anyone has experience of Frame TVs and knows which is the best driver to use and how just to simply turn Art mode on and off, I'd be really very grateful! Thanks.
