Not yet, where is this menu? So if I disable I still able to turn off tv when room off?

in Settings > Remotes and Devices, you can choose the following:

Control TVs and Receivers: Decide whether your Siri Remote or Apple TV Remote automatically turns on your television or receiver.

Turn that off.

Then control4 remote will do everythig without interference from apple tv

Room off won’t turn the tv off, because Control4 doesn’t think the tv is on so it won’t try to turn it off. You would need to select a watch source and then press room off

However, once you turn off CEC, you shouldn’t have this issue.

Go through every device you have in the system and ensure CEC is off. CEC is the enemy of automation systems. Turn It off on your tv, AVR, blu-day player, etc.

I'm a couple years late to this... if I turn off CEC on the TV, will I still be able to control the TV volume with the Apple Remote App?

The main thing I'm trying to accomplish is turning off the appleTV with a Room OFF button or with code. Currently, sending a 'power off' command to the appleTV in Composer just emulates pressing the menu button.

Thanks in advance!
