Pounce Posted May 22, 2018 Share Posted May 22, 2018 I think the hitch is that for the mount to be useful and to drop the TV over the mantel it needs to have a certain arm length that folds up vertically. If the TV is small then the mount may show top or bottom when flat to the wall. If you love that TV and have a little more space to fit what would be a 40" you might try a mount for a 40" (such as what they have at Monoprice) and if it doesn't cover enough you could put something decorative behind it.
