Bullseye
My front door lights and coach lights turn off at 1:00am. If later than that the front door or garaje door opens the lights turn on again. What is the best way to make sure they turn off again maybe at sunrise?? How is the programming??

brucecampbell
Given you know when the front door or garage open, you must know when they close?? I would start a timer when the doors close (checking for both doors are closed and time is >1am and < sunrise) Timer lasts for say 5 mins. when timer expires, turn off the lights You'd also need to stop the timer if the doors open. To make life easy, add all your light settings as a lighting scene so you can just execute the scene on/off

THEORY
Much easier to use the security light driver, Timmer is built in. It can also go back to the state it was prior to triggering. No programming really needed. Just enable it and disable it at whatever time you want. It's a much better solution.

RyanE
I believe the security light driver works with Gen1, Gen2, and Gen3 lighting devices. RyanE

For starters, it's part of the c4 driver database and requires os 2.90 and up. It's free The instructions are in the documentation tab. Get your dealer to add it to your project

Gary Leeds UK
Ryan - it's a very useful driver that responded well and gives you great feed back well done
RyanE
Simon (originally from EV) wrote the first version, and I'm glad for it. I've replaced quite a bit of my ComposerPro programming that I added 13 years ago with that one driver. He also started the Door/Garage Door/Gate/Window Experience Button drivers, which we recently released. Simon made a lot of Good Stuff.
