krud1
OK, let me start by saying I know, I shouldn't have tried updating to 1.7 for my AVM-HTC1. I knew I shouldn't, but I was up too late Christmas Eve and wasn't thinking. Call me what you will, I already have.I tried updating to 1.7, let it go for a couple of hours (throughout the night), and came back to see a lot of errors stating there wasn't enough storage. I closed composer, went to turn on my tv, and found out that my remote wasn't working the controller. I tried opening composer again, but it couldn't connect to the director. I've tried unplugging it, waiting a few minutes, trying again with no luck. The 3 red lights do light. Is there a simple reset or anything that I can try before the USB restore stick? Has anybody tried the restore stick? The router shows the ip addresss of the controller, just composer can't connect to it.I have learned not to try anything after midnight that may ruin everything the next day when I am actually fully awake:(Thanks. neil12011
some of the early htc's had smaller memory than later, it was like 128mb or so....the later ones had 256mb I believe. I don't know if the early htc's can support 1.7 as a master controller.what version did you have before you updated?
Kirill
been there done that. You out of internal memory. You need to remove cover art to free up space - mount controller in windows and move the files to your local drive.Than I used HC300 as main controller (instead of HTC) and upgrade did finish. You may try to restart the HTC and it may be able to complete the upgrade - check the log files to see what it is doing.
krud1
I had 1.3.2. I can't remove cover art since I can't connect director to composer. Kirill
can you mount the controller from windows like:\\IP i.e.\\190.165.1.5?
krud1
Alright, good news. I used the USB recovery file and reset the controller. Everything (knock on wood) seems to be working. Thanks to those of you who tried to help, very much appreciated.
