Network problem after trying to update

Recommended Posts

OK, let me start by saying I know, I shouldn't have tried updating to 1.7 for my AVM-HTC1. I knew I shouldn't, but I was up too late Christmas Eve and wasn't thinking. Call me what you will, I already have.

I tried updating to 1.7, let it go for a couple of hours (throughout the night), and came back to see a lot of errors stating there wasn't enough storage. I closed composer, went to turn on my tv, and found out that my remote wasn't working the controller. I tried opening composer again, but it couldn't connect to the director. I've tried unplugging it, waiting a few minutes, trying again with no luck. The 3 red lights do light.

Is there a simple reset or anything that I can try before the USB restore stick? Has anybody tried the restore stick? The router shows the ip addresss of the controller, just composer can't connect to it.

I have learned not to try anything after midnight that may ruin everything the next day when I am actually fully awake:(

Thanks.

been there done that.

You out of internal memory. You need to remove cover art to free up space - mount controller in windows and move the files to your local drive.

Than I used HC300 as main controller (instead of HTC) and upgrade did finish. You may try to restart the HTC and it may be able to complete the upgrade - check the log files to see what it is doing.

I had 1.3.2. I can't remove cover art since I can't connect director to composer. Below is the log file from windows:

Does anyone know if I can load 1.3 back onto the controller from a USB thumb drive? I don't know if it can be done now that 1.7 messed things up.

Thanks all!
