drmark12pa
I'm adding another C4 fan controller for a fan that has both a light and fan. However, it would appear I need a fan controller AND a light switch to operate both fan and light? Is that correct?
RyanE
That is correct. The Fan Speed Controller controls the speed of a 'dumb' fan (i.e. not one that has a dedicated remote, etc.). It does not control the light for the same fan. RyanE
Cyknight
Yes, AND the fan needs to have separate power connections for the Fan and the Light, AND that has to be wired that way to where you want to place the devices.
RyanE
And I believe it requires a dedicated neutral in the box for the fan. RyanE
