However, the 2.8.1 driver does not have the "Back" functionality.  In general this is not an issue as the left arrow functions as a back for all the Tivo menus, the problem is when you're running a streaming service like hulu or youtube.

"Back" needs to be brought back. It's annoying having to exit and renter the apps just to go somewhere else.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's gone or is it just not hard coded to a button.

Can you map it to a color button?

Is there any reason not to use the older driver then?  The driver I am using (not at home so I can't look up the version) is able to map the back button, and works for everything else.  FYI, the channel up button functions as the commercial skip button in addition to the "D" button.  This isn't a driver feature, this is how the Bolt functions. I was worried initially because i wasn't able to map a "D" button.  So Channel up will skip commercials forward, and channel down will skip back.

What other features am I missing from the new driver by using the old driver?

Exactly which 'back' command are we talking about?  This is the protocol document we're using, and I can't find a 'Back' button in there anywhere...

https://www.tivo.com/assets/images/abouttivo/resources/downloads/brochures/TiVo_TCP_Network_Remote_Control_Protocol.pdf

The driver lets you remap nearly every normally remappable key on the Control4 remote to any command in the document, and it would be trivial to add Back if it existed in the protocol.

I'd *love* to add 'Back' to the current driver, if it's missing something I can add, but I'm not seeing it.

"Back" is on the Bolt and keyboard remotes on the left side under Input, in the same location "Zoom" used to be (though the new remotes have a dedicated Zoom key on the right).

It's not documented, but maybe IRCODE BACK would work?

the left arrow, works as a back button .. Yes the old driver did have a back button...I never used it! Just left arrow to go back in the menus'.. IF you don't like the new driver use the old one or make your own.. this is just repetitive, for days

Or, they can correct the driver by adding the back button.

Not inside the apps like Amazon.

Which button on the peanut though?

Not sure what you're asking, but the button on the (newer) remotes is labeled Zoom

So the missing back button is labeled zoom on the peanut remote.

Zoom is mapped to * or # on the SR2n0

Ok but this thread is about the missing back button in the driver.

Not sure how zoom. Zoomed in. Mazda product placement perhaps?

So which button on the peanut remote is the missing back button?

This back button is not mapped on the new driver. This button is very much needed in streaming apps like VUDU, HuLu, Plex and other streaming apps.
