System stops responding

This is a weird one.  My system is running version 2.6xx  I have an HTPC that I use to run KODI.  Love it works great. t's a Zotac computer running windows 7.  I usually leave it running 24/7.  However when I do shut down the computer, my control4 system stops resonding entirely.  Everywhere, and everything.  All remotes, keypads etc.  Even the SR250 remotes stop connecting. This lasts for about 5-10  minutes, then it starts responding works fine again.  Any ideas what could cause this?

what driver are using for Kodi? It is likely not handling the disconnect from Kodi gracefully.

Oh ok, that's a good question on which driver.  My dealer installed quite a while ago.  When it was installed years ago, he asked if I wanted the free one, or paid one.  I oted for free.  It allows control of the kodi system with the remote and that's about all (which is fine for me)  So is the answer to get a new driver?

I have a feeling that free driver isn;t playing nicely with control4.  I believe that driver hasn't been updated in a few years.  I recommend Kodi Lite or Full from Chowmain
