Tokead
I set up a schedule and announcement, so my kids had a couple of minutes warning to get out of the house to get the bus. It's meant to make the announcement several times, but I was only getting three times. Lately, it's only making it once. Any ideas what's up? Matt Lowe
need to put this on a timer and have a variable count and need at least 30 seconds between each announcement. should go something like this schedule executes, you can set this m-f or add variables for summer time and know holidays if variable equals x stop start timer on timer expire execute announcement add 1 to variable this will not execute how ever many times you want or until some other condition is met. just be sure to give the timer about 30 seconds between each execution. Tokead
Thanks. I'll give it a try. Curious why it was kind of working before, announcing it at least 3 times?
Matt Lowe
depends on how it is stacking or what process the controller is running at the given time. announcements even short ones take about 20 seconds to run completely through give or take some time
South Africa C4 user
To keep it clean, why not record "Time to go" 5 times in your announcement (wav file)? Then you only need to kick off one announcement and should have no hassles.
Tokead
Thanks. I like both ideas. I'll increase the delay to 20 secs and try that first
