mstafford388
the blue goes in the TS/C all the way on the right. you do need the jumper between the 2 red terminals.
Bullseye
Thanks. Btw, power stealing should be off ?Tomorrow will be installing it.Thanks again
Cyknight
YES power stealing should be off. It rarely works anyway, and using the Blue to TS/C (Commom or COM on your furnace) defeats the need to begin with. In fact leaving it on with a Com connection WILL give you grief. Matt Lowe
what type of system do you have conventional heat pump gas or electric?
Bullseye
Its Electric,
Matt Lowe
looks like you have everything correct. I would confirm this color termination on the handler itself just to make sure they wired everything straight thru. a picture of this panel also would be helpful
Bullseye
I have to get in the attic to check it out. Looks I will install the old thermostat and after checking the handler, plus some pictures, will get into it again. Thanks for your help

Bullseye
Reviving al old thread. I heard somewhere that it is a known problem an theres a patch to fix this issue (blowing heat instead of cold). Anybody heard about it??
mstafford388
I haven't heard of a patch for that. Doesn't mean there isn't one I don't know about though. sounds like you're not activating your reversing valve which would be the orange wire. Bullseye
I am gona get a confirmation from my dealer monday or tuesday. I'll keep you posted!!!
msgreenf
The patch only applies in a very specific upgrade scenario. If you updated to 2.5 there was a problem with wrong firmware. Doesnt apply to any other upgrade path Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
