AV Rack

Bullseye

Recommended Posts

I am looking for a reasonable priced rack for my new house.  Due to very small space I currently have a 2 post 42u rack but would like a 4 post for my new home.  Doesn't have to be anything fancy. Probably with side panels so that it looks better

What would you recommend????

Check Craigslist for decommissioned server racks. Will be nice and stable, with wheels, and all 4 sides. Have a Compaq and a Sun rack in my basement, they work great.

People are catching on to this and the price of used sever racks has gone up . Also have to pay attention to size and make sure your getting 19"

Most of the ones I've come across have been too deep - used for accommodating large storage arrays...

Why do you say this?  Everything has gone up.  I used CR to sell 13 Crenlo racks and I couldn't wait to turn them into cash.  I sold to another business for re-commissioning as instrumentation racks.  At least, I don't believe the folks where home-automation posers.  22" racks are out there but 19" is standard.
