Day Time / Night Time

By C4 definition, when is "night time" and "day time"? I am programming a doorbell and i want the front

porch light to come on if the light is already off and its "night time." The programming does not work if

i put the "nighttime" variable in there. I would think night time = after sunset (which changes of course), but

it doesnt seem to.

Please post your code (screen shot). I think day time and night time follow sunrise and sunset. Is the clock set to the correct time on the controller?

Henniae. I think i got it to work. I just posted this to another guy's question to help him out, but here's what i got. I think it works now, but would like to know for sure what "night time" is. Thanks for the help

thanks for posting that code. It really helps in thinking about what c4 can do. Also, shouldn't it be "man cave" instead of "man room"? :)

Sure thing. I think the programming goes a long way to reaching the maximum usefulness of the C4 system. I know i learn a lot from that side of things. Based on how unevolved my son and i act in the room, it probably should be called a "cave"! We still have a No Girls Allowed policy
