Personally, I would have liked to see the search function get fixed and the trolls locked-out for good.

good luck with the trolls
The only method we found on another site I moderate is to have the admins or mods approve each new member of the forum before they can post, kind of a pita but it works

I find it curious that they made this sub-forum, but we are still waiting for the improvements promised back in 2010.

So do I. I mean come on, didn't we just spend a day or two discussing a get-together only to see it fizzle? What I think would be interesting and scary at the same time is to meet-up with those with a common dealer in a local way. "Yeah, that douche did the same thing to me man- lets sue!"

Yep. That was all it was Dan... No conspiracy!! ... 
It was kind of your idea (and also suggested by a couple of other guys privately) to keep this within C4forums ...rather than separate it off to Google plus or Facebook..
Might not be quite as slick..but we are all familiar with this site, and it doesn't disperse the "brand"..doesn't tread on anybody's toes, and remains totally "independent"...

Lets' not get too cynical about this new subforum. Sure it might prove to be totally lame...but it was an easy request to put in place. Gotta start somewhere. And the new subforum gives everyone a specific focal point to arrange a catch up..no matter how small.
